- 本校大一/大二/大三/大四學生。（以報名交換學生甄選時，本校教務處學籍系統上之年級為準），欲選填該校為志願學校者，須先至該校網頁查詢自己的系所是否隸屬於College of Arts and Sciences學院之下。
- GPA 達3.00分以上。
- TOEFL iBT 85 (不接受 Home Edition)，新制 TOEFL iBT 成績待交換學校確認中 或 IELTS 6.0。
- 不接受醫學院、法律學院、社會科學院新闻研究所、電機資訊學院、文學院圖書資訊學系、文學院圖書資訊學研究所、管理學院、公共衛生學院、社會科學院國家發展研究所、社會科學院公共事務研究所、社會科學院社會工作學系之學生申請。

- Areas of Study Avalible: Exchange students can take courses in any department within the College of Arts and Sciences, which includes more than 40 academic departments and interdisciplinary curricula. Enrollment will be subject to availability and will be dependent upon students having met any course prerequisites. Please refer to the for course descriptions.

- Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Gillings School of Global Public Health, Kenan-Flagler Business School, Law School, School of Dentistry, School of Education, School of Government, School of Information & Library Science, Hussman School of Journalism and Mass Communication, School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Social Work are not open to exchange students.
- Please note there is a 2 course limit, per semester, for Economics and Psychology courses.
- Academic workload for exchange students:

Undergraduate: 12 credit hours (4 courses) minimum per semester
- Graduate: 9 credit hours (3 courses) minimum per semester

- All exchnage students will be charged a $100 administration fee at the beginning of the program.
