1. 本校大一/大二/大叁学生。（以报名交换学生甄选时，本校教务处学籍系统上之年级為準）。
2. 歷年不得有不及格／不通过科目。
3. GPA 達3.30分以上。
4. TOEFL iBT 100 (不接受 Home Edition)，新制 TOEFL iBT 成績待交換學校確認中 或 IELTS 7.5。
5. 不接受管理学院、电机资讯学院、医学院、生物资源暨农学院兽医学系、法律学院之学生申请。

3. Academic Restrictions:
   • Graduate programs, and Cornell University degree/certificate programs outside Ithaca, NY are not open to university-wide exchanges.
   • Exchange students are unable to take courses in Computer Science (CS) and Information Science. Related subjects may be found in other departments (Electrical and Computer Engineering; Information Science, Systems, and Technology; or Operations Research and Information Engineering).
   • While business classes are available, they are restricted and can be difficult to get into.
   • Studio classes (architecture, art, design, and fashion) are typically not available to students through general exchange agreements. 
   • Courses associated with professional graduate degree programs (MBA, MEng, MPS, MPH, etc.) are not available to non-degree students; in general, students should not expect to take graduate (MA, MS, PhD) courses.
   • Senior capstone courses as well as first year writing seminars are not available to exchange students.
   • Graduate degree programs and professional colleges and schools (Law, Veterinary Medicine, SC Johnson College of Business, Cornell Tech, Weill Cornell Medical School) are not included in university-wide or undergraduate college-specific exchange agreements.
4. Students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credits per semester during the academic year. Most exchange students enroll in 14-16 credits per semester. Exceeding 16 credits is not recommended.
5. Students entering Cornell for a full academic or calendar year are expected to maintain good academic standing. Good academic standing for incoming exchange and visiting students is defined as:
   • Earn a term GPA of 2.0 or higher in their first term at Cornell.
   • Successfully completing a minimum of 12 academic credits. To complete course credits, students must receive a letter grade of “D-” or higher, OR an “S” in a class taken S/U.
   • Failure to maintain good academic standing for your first term at Cornell will result in dismissal from the program.
6. All students are enrolled in . This is mandatory and cannot be waived by international students unless they are covered by an acceptable U.S. employer-based health insurance plan.

Students are welcome to apply for on-campus housing regardless of the term they are attending Cornell; however, be aware that on-campus housing is limited and not guaranteed.

• Fall semester: Finding housing can be very challenging. is not available, and single-semester leases within commuting distance are difficult to secure.
• Spring semester: Housing may be available on-campus and is generally easy to find off-campus.
• Academic year: only

Note: Upon nomination to Cornell we encourage students to begin searching for housing. However, students should not commit to housing (financially or otherwise) until they have received admission notification from Cornell and have secured a visa appointment.
