5. Courses NOT Open to Exchange Students: Practical courses such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental Sciences are not open to exchange students. Courses offered by Kyushu University Business School (QBS) are open only to exchange students who are enrolled in QBS.
6. Master's or PhD students are NOT allowed to take undergraduate courses/subjects/units.
7. Exchange students must select courses to meet 14 credits or more each semester under Japanese Immigration Law. (More than 20 credits are not recommended.)

10. National Health Insurance: All foreign nationals with a residence permit for a period exceeding 3 months who are students or who are not covered by an employer's social security plan (mutual aid, health insurance) are required to join National Health Insurance. 
11. Emergency Security Plan (ESP): Emergency Security Plan, which international students enrolled at Kyushu University are required to join, will provide assistance with various medical services. Please note, however, that ESP is not a health insurance, and does not substitute for or replace the National Health Insurance which international students enrolled with a residence card are also required to join.
12. Cost of Living (monthly average):
    • Housing and utilities: ¥15,000 - ¥50,000
    • Food: ¥30,000 (lunch at the school cafeteria runs about ¥400, and students typically prepare their own breakfast and dinner at dormitories)
    • Local transportation: ¥10,000 (individual spending habits may vary)
    • Books and supplies: ¥5,000 (instructors typically provide reading materials in class)
    • Health insurance: ¥2,000
    • Personal expenses: ¥20,000 (individual spending habits may vary)

1. 經甄選錄取獲得本校推薦資格之交換生，須依照所錄取之語言要求（JLPT、IELTS或TOEFL iBT），來遞交交換學校之交換入學申請文件。例如：以JLPT語言條件取得交換資格者，須申請該校之一般交換學生計畫（意即以日語授課之課程）；以IELTS或TOEFL iBT語言條件取得交換資格者，須申請該校之英語課程交換學生計畫（通常是國際學部專門開設給国际学生的英語授課課程）。
2. 经甄选录取获得本校推荐资格之交换生，不得於取得该校入学许可后，要求变更已取得的入学许可条件；或者是交换申请被该校拒绝后，要求以另一种条件重新提出申请（包括但不限於：原先录取日文授课计画，改為英文授课计画）。如有以上情事者，将直接取消其录取资格，并受罚金及罚则约束。
3. 若該校提供兩種或以上不同語言的交換學生計畫，交換生名额是分開計算，不同語言條件之交換入學申請，亦由該校不同的委員會審查。
