  3. 不接受医学院牙医学系之学生申请。

  1. 交换学校一览表所列之語言能力為該校之最低門檻要求,同學需自行確認語言能力是否符合該校修課要求、查詢是否有相对应的系所及足够的课程可供选读、能否达到该校之每学期修课学分数要求、以及是否具备相关领域之背景知识,若未达标準,该校有权拒收。

  4. Restrictions: 
    • Students are generally allowed to choose courses across faculties. However, for advanced courses (level 300 and up), a background in that field of study is required.
    • Bachelor's students are not allowed to follow courses at Master's level.

  1. Students can take Dutch  at the Department of Dutch as a Second Language.
  2. : VU Amsterdam requires all incoming international students to be properly insured by an internationally recognised insurance agency for the duration of their stay (this is also required by Dutch law). 
  3. Living in Amsterdam can be expensive. Make sure that you have sufficient financial means to cover the costs of living. 
  4. Experience shows that living and studying in the Netherlands for one year costs a student between €1,000 and €1,100 per month. Some students manage to spend less, but this of course depends on your own lifestyle (and type of accommodation). An indication of likely monthly expenses:
    Rent for housing average: €600 (price range €366 - €1,045)
    Food: €250
    Insurance: €100
    Public transport: €50
    Books: €50
    Other costs: €50
    Total (average): €1,100

We strongly advise students to apply for accommodation through the International Office. Students can only start this process after their exchange application has been approved.

A handling fee of €250 per semester is required for this service. The number of rooms available is limited, accommodation cannot be guaranteed, and is assigned on a first-paid, first-served basis. Rental periods are fixed and cannot be adjusted to the student's arrival and/or departure dates.
