一般组， 

1. 本校大一以上(仅限大学部)学生。（以报名交换学生甄选时，本校教务处学籍系统上之年级為準）。
2. GPA 達3.00分以上。
3. TOEFL iBT 93 (不接受 Home Edition) 或 IELTS 6.5。
4. 不接受医学院、公共卫生学院之学生申请。
5. 法律学院，需符合下列成绩标準：
   1. GPA 達3.33分以上。
   2. TOEFL iBT 97 (不接受 Home Edition) 或 IELTS 7.0 (聽 6.5 讀 6.5 寫 6.5 說 6.5)。

该校年历请参考
第一学期：9月-12月
第二学期：1月-5月

须在本校註册并缴交全额学杂费，免缴该校学费，但该校杂费、住宿费、生活费、保险费、往返机票费等均须自行负担。

5. The following programmes / courses are NOT opened to exchange students:
   Faculty of Dentistry
   Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine
   BSc (Exercise and Health) Programme
   Most final year project courses provided by all faculties

8. Course Load: 
   Students are required to take 24-30 credits (6 credits per course in general) for each semester.
   50% of the course load must be chosen from one Faculty  (your intended host faculty). It is optional for students to take the remaining credits from other faculties.

9. Common Core courses will not count as part of the fulfillment of the 50% requirement of course enrollment for exchange students.

10. Except for the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE), the minimum and maximum course load per semester are 6 and 30 credits respectively.  It is optional for students to take the remaining credits from other faculties. However, please ensure that at least 50% belongs to FBE.

11. Students admitted to Faculty of Law can choose no more than 6 credits of non-law course (i.e. 1 course) in each semester. For more information, please refer to this  (Course Enrollment).

12. We are also pleased to share that HKU has recently established two new schools under the Faculty of Engineering that will further expand the learning opportunities for incoming students:

    • School of Computing and Data Science (SCDS): SCDS focuses on areas including computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, statistical decision sciences, fintech and actuarial science.

    • School of Innovation (i-School): The i-School integrates theory with practical, hands-on experiences across science, technology, design and entrepreneurship.

    • Both schools will offer courses to incoming exchange students, and details of the courses available will be announced in August.

13. Health and travel insurance is optional but highly recommended.

    • Students may arrange insurance at their own cost in order to meet their needs for the duration of their studies in Hong Kong.

    • The coverage should include provisions for emergency evacuation, rescuer's expenses and repatriation. If you plan to travel outside Hong Kong, you should make sure that your insurance policy covers those destinations as well.

    • Registered students are entitled to HKU Group Travel Insurance (Portal login required to read the details) for travelling overseas on activities which are officially arranged by the University.

14. Exchange students are NOT allowed to work in Hong Kong under student visa conditions.
