- 本校大一/大二/大叁学生。（以报名交换学生甄选时，本校教务处学籍系统上之年级為準）。
- 歷年不得有不及格／不通过科目。
- GPA 達3.30分以上。
- 具日語檢定成績 2 級以上。
- 不接受医学院、生物资源暨农学院兽医学系之学生申请。

- 交换学校一览表所列之語言能力為該校之最低門檻要求，同學需自行確認語言能力是否符合該校修課要求、查詢是否有相對應系所及足夠的課程可供選讀、能否達到該校之每學期修課學分數要求、以及是否具備相關領域之背景知識，若未達標準，該校有權拒收

- Language of Instruction: Mostly Japanese, some subjects in English.
- J Course (J コース): Students in this course mainly take classes in specialised subjects for undergraduate students of each faculty, as well as Japanese Language classes. Also, they can take general education classes taught in English.
- E Course (E コース): Students in this course mainly take STEP classes taught in English and the Japanese Language classes provided in Japanese. If you wish to take other classes, you must have a consultation with the office staff in advance. Also, those classes will NTO be calculated towards programme completion.

- Japanese Language Classes are limited to 7 credits per semester.
- Students must take at least 7 classes per week and 10 credits each semester.
- To take General Education classes and Specialised classes, Japanese language level more than N2 of JLPT is the criterion. Also, not all the classes are available for STEP students. Addtionally, you may not be able to take those courses if the language level is under the criterion.

- 經甄選錄取獲得本校推薦資格之交換生，須依照所錄取之語言要求（JLPT、IELTS或TOEFL iBT），來遞交交換學校之交換入學申請文件。例如：以JLPT語言條件取得交換資格者，須申請該校之一般交換學生計畫（意即以日語授課之課程）；以IELTS或TOEFL iBT語言條件取得交換資格者，須申請該校之英語課程交換學生計畫（通常是國際學部專門開設給国际学生的英語授課課程）。
- 经甄选录取获得本校推荐资格之交换生，不得於取得该校入学许可后，要求变更已取得的入学许可条件；或者是交换申请被该校拒绝后，要求以另一种条件重新提出申请（包括但不限於：原先录取日文授课计画，改為英文授课计画）。如有以上情事者，将直接取消其录取资格，并受罚金及罚则约束。
- 若該校提供兩種或以上不同語言的交換學生計畫，交換生名额是分開計算，不同語言條件之交換入學申請，亦由該校不同的委員會審查。

Exchange students from partner schools are not required to live on campus and may find their own accommodations in the area, but should be aware that finding off-campus housing, especially for only one semester, can be challenging. Spots in campus housing are reserved for exchange students.
