1. 本校大一以上/硕一以上(不含博士生)学生。（以报名交换学生甄选时，本校教务处学籍系统上之年级為準），前述「以上」包含该年级。
2. 学士生 TOEFL iBT 79 (不接受 Home Edition)，新制 TOEFL iBT 成績待交換學校確認中 或 IELTS 6.0；
   研究生 TOEFL iBT 79 (不接受 Home Edition)，新制 TOEFL iBT 成績待交換學校確認中 或 IELTS 6.5；。
3. 不接受医学院、管理学院会计学研究所、管理学院财务金融学研究所、管理学院国际公司学研究所、管理学院资讯管理学研究所、管理学院商学研究所、管理学院管理学院公司管理硕士专班、社会科学院经济学研究所、国际学院之学生申请。
4. 法律学院，需符合下列成绩标準：
   1. TOEFL iBT 90 (不接受 Home Edition) 或 IELTS 7.0。

3. Any exchange student wishing to take coursework in the College of Law must be a law student at his/her home institution and must obtain a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 90 or IELTS score of 7.0.

5. Subjects NOT Open to Exchange Students:  
   • Coursework offered at the OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City or the OU Tulsa campus 
     • Ex: Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Telecommunications 
   • College of Continuing Education 
     • Ex: Aviation, Administrative Leadership, Liberal Studies, Criminal Justice 
   • College of Business at the graduate level (numbered 5000 and above) 
     • Ex: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing & Supply Chain Management, and Management Information systems
   •  Department of Economics at the graduate level
6. All courses in the following colleges require advisor approval before enrollment can take place: Architecture, Business, Earth and Energy, Education, Engineering, and Journalism.
7. All exchange students are required to enroll in a full-time course load for non-degree students, regardless of their academic level at their home university. Full-time course load is defined as 12 OU credits (average of 4 courses).
8. For Master's students, they are allowed to take undergraduate courses/subjects/units.

Incoming exchange students are encouraged to live in campus-owned residences. Housing charges are billed per semester. offers two to exchange students who want to live on the Norman campus: OU Traditions Square or Kraettli Apartments.

While OU cannot guarantee on-campus housing for all exchange students, every effort will be made to house exchange students on campus who meet the deadlines communicated to them by the Exchange Student Coordinator. Most incoming exchange students obtain housing on campus if they meet the deadlines. The Office of International Student Services manages on-campus housing requests for exchange students. Exchange students should NOT apply for housing through the regular OU Housing and Food Services website. All questions about on-campus housing for exchange students should be directed to the Exchange Student Coordinator.
